MLB Apprenticeship

With funding from the Mille Lacs Band Community Foundation we are offering 1 individual from Mille Lacs Band District 1 or 2a an Ojibwe Language Apprenticeship. ​

We will focus on Ceremonies and Language Development.

By the end of the 1 year Apprenticeship, there would be a total of 2,080 hours of Language and Ceremony exposure.

That is enough exposure to generate a Beginner Level of Fluency meaning that early functioning conversations can be had.
